ERP Project/Product Manager for Business Process Improvement

About Us

We believe that all strength comes from within. If your people, processes and technology don’t run like clockwork, you won’t be able to wow your customers, nor will you have your team love what they do. That is not just true for the customer we serve, it's equally true for the team we’re building ourselves.

bob was founded in August 2023 by Ferry, Philip and Pete - with a combined experience of 40+ years in e-commerce, business process improvement, operational excellence, organisational design and (software) product management. With bob, we’re focussed on transforming businesses, with a combination of a truly effective methodology and deploying odoo as our tool of choice.

About You

As an ERP Project/Product Manager for Business Process Improvement, you continuously level-up our customer’s internal operations, after their ERP go-live. While the initial implementation puts in place the foundation (read: functional skeleton), it’s really the process of continuous improvement that makes a real difference. In this role, you get to support 1-3 customers at a time, coaching and helping them to apply their new tool stack across various business domains (e.g. sales, inventory, finance), as their requirements continue to evolve. You own the ongoing customer relationship and manage the pipeline to build and roll out enhancements, solving tricky problems and generating real business value (e.g. increased sales, reduced error rates, higher efficiency, improved collaboration and internal staff satisfaction). While we expect you to get your hands dirty and further your knowledge independently, you have our team at your disposal to strategise and design optimal solutions. In doing so, you will continuously refine bob’s internal range of services, go-to solutions and products over time.
We’re looking for that rare mix of people, business and technology skills. Here’s what’s important to us:

You are empathetic, analytical and an active listener

  • You know how to differentiate between symptoms and root-causes and have the ability to break down complex problems into separable components, offering simple yet effective solutions

  • You communicate clearly, precisely and proactively - both written/async and verbally

  • You are a self-organised, highly accountable project manager, with outstanding prioritisation skills

  • You know how to get things done, balancing perfection vs. pragmatism

  • You figure things out and hustle to find answers you may not yet have

  • You are not taking yourself too seriously and know how to have fun, too

To hit the ground running, you have some relevant 1-3 years experience in the following fields:

  • (IT/software-related) project and/or product management

  • Requirements management and stakeholder management

  • Business process improvement and related methodologies

  • Previous experience in introducing and/or operating ERP (-like) systems

Otherwise noteworthy:

  • Given our current DACH focus, being fluent in German is a must to be able to operate autonomously

What we offer

It’s day 1, and you get to be part of something special. A bunch of talented, ambitious, curious, and empathetic people, looking to transform companies from within - all while designing our own company, as a home for the type of life we want, with a work culture we love.

While we believe there’s nothing more special than the energy of co-working on-site (Berlin office in the making), we’re open to supporting hybrid + fully remote, as long as we’re getting things done - individually and as a team.

We offer competitive pay as well as bonus arrangements, reflecting your active contribution to bob’s growth and commercial success.
